Within a circle, the couplet ‘sekke zad dar jahān cho badr-e monir / shāh Aurangzēb-e ālamgir’ (‘Struck coins through the world like the shining moon, Shah Aurangzeb Alamgir’ in Persian); between the lines, ‘914’ (for ‘1094’ in Persian). Rev. Within a circle, ‘zarb-e Surat sane-ye 27 jolus-e meymanat maʾnus’ (‘Struck in Surat, in the year 27 of the prosperous reign’ in Persian). KM 300.86. Beautifully toned. In NGC encapsulation, graded AU 55. Top Pop. Very minor flan faults, otherwise, extremely fine.
